Feeling pretty accomplished.
Last thursday & friday I took 2 days leave and intended to pack my room but instead I ended up clearing the boy's room. I was like a chamber maid.
I pulled out every single thing that was in his cupboard and slowly organised them into the boxes I bought from Ikea. Oh god the amount of fishing gears and whatever not he has is really shocking!
It was really a mess!! There was absolutely no walking space in his room while I was clearing even his mom and sis got a huge shocked when they peeped into the room. Seeing me in a corner surrounded by all the junk he has.
But I managed to keep patient with the thought of his pleased and happy face when he sees his room going through my mind. Took me about 6 hours odd to just clear out his drawers and wardrobe.
He dint notice any difference when he came home only a corner of the room cleaned but was shocked when he opened his cupboards. I then went to shower and dozed off in his bed with my hair still soaking wet, I was simply too exhausted!
Woke up friday morning with a super aching back! I felt so old. After lunch when baby went to work, I wanted to go home but I stayed instead and continue to clean the room! Oh my, what was I thinking! I felt like it wasn't complete and I still had sat and sun to do my own room!
So the cleaning continues. I threw away his mini shelf by the bedside and his computer table. I then organised the wires and his hi fi set. Next I pulled out the book shelve and vacuumed the entire room, the book shelve and the tv. I love the vacuum! After vacuuming I shifted everything out and mopped the floors with the SHARK cleaner his mom bought, was so good! It was so clean. And then I washed the air con.
I was exhausted!! But it felt so good to know that baby will have a clean and fresh room to sleep in from now on and will have one for as long as I'm around. I'm so proud of myself!! It was really an accomplishment.
I love you darling! Please don't mess up the room and keep so much junk alright. Just a few more steps to go to having your dream room :)
